Masseria Zanzara is your trusted destination for authentic Salento experiences.
We are located in an ancient fortified farmhouse dating back to 1470 AD, one of the oldest in Puglia,
just a few kilometers from the beaches of Porto Cesario and Torre Lapillo. On our surrounding land,
olive trees, vegetables, and fruit are grown and processed by hand using organic methods
and sustainable agriculture. The 19 rooms inside the farmhouse guarantee
an immersive experience in the Salento countryside.

Family Room Superior
Family Room with a large private terrace. The rooms are large and comfortable to accommodate a family with children or a group of friends. They offer a private relaxing experience with an intimate and discreet outdoor space. It is the perfect place to relax with a good book or for an afternoon siesta.
Junior Suite with terrace
A large space to enjoy your stay in the Masseria in complete serenity. A welcoming room located on the first floor overlooking the gardens and courtyard. For an authentic experience in full Apulian style, the ancient flooring and part of the furniture have been preserved. All this is completed by a fantastic private terrace for moments of relaxation. The only room in the Masseria from where you can admire an extraordinary sunset.
Double Comfort Room
Overlooking the garden, the Comfort Double Room offers a comfortable 16 m² of space. With a double bed, air conditioning and a private bathroom with shower, the room is perfect for one or two people. Inside you will find all the comforts for a totally relaxing stay.

A stay in the deluxe room with terrace is a unique experience. Located in the ancient tower dating back to 1470, this room offers an atmosphere of yesteryear enhanced by the tower vaults and antique furniture. Private access to the terrace allows you to enjoy the relaxation of your holiday.
Deluxe Junior Suite
Built in the Masseria’s old stables, this suite offers an authentic, rural-style stay. The atmosphere is made magical by a four-poster bed, an ancient fireplace and old mangers that transform the space into a unique and unforgettable indigenous experience. The suite overlooks the courtyard of the Masseria, a small table with chairs offers the opportunity to experience the outdoor space with discretion and privacy, the perfect secluded place to relax with a good book.
Comfort Triple Room
The spacious and bright environment makes this room perfect for a stay of a family or three friends. A cosy space located on the ground floor overlooking the garden and citrus grove. Equipped with one double and one single bed, private bathroom with large shower and air conditioning in all rooms.

This was a lovely old convent now a small hotel and restaurant. We drive there to have dinner out of the beating path and found ourselves in a beautiful old monastery turned into a modern version of a hotel/ restaurant.
Really hospitable staff, great mentality and very professional. They really go out of their way to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Great view as well. Very flexible and close to Firenze. Will come again
